Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Pit Bull Terrier (short coat) Dog

Rockford the Dog needs a home

Meet Rockford! Hello! My name is Rockford, but you can call me Rocky. I am a 3-year-old squishy pitbull with a beautiful reddish coat! I am both housetrained and crate trained, and I know lots of useful tricks like sit, leave it, stay, and more! Beauty AND brains! I'm also adorable (if you couldn't already tell by my pictures). When I sleep, I make lots of cute little noises that I know you will fall in love with.

I love my foster mommy, and I love to follow her all around the house. I also live with lots of little humans, and they're great too! I would do okay in a home with kids, but I can get pretty rowdy sometimes, so older kids would probably be better so I don't accidentally knock anyone over. I'll need to be the only fur-child, though. I'm not a big fan of other animals, and need slow, structured intros with other dogs. So it'd be best if I could be your one-and-only. After all, that means more attention for me! I'll snuggle in your lap or play games with you all day!

I'm currently working on training in my foster home, and will need an adopter who wants to keep working with me. Like I said, I'm really smart, but I have trouble focusing. I have some problems with OCD, which means training just takes a little more work. I want to learn so badly, and I do well in short spurts, but I will need a home dedicated to working through that with me. The great news is, TCPR is prepared to support my furever family as long as needed to make sure everyone is comfortable with my needs!

In addition to needing an animal-free home, I'd love one with lots of space to play! A big fenced backyard would be AMAZING! Like I said, I love people, so my humans will also need to be prepared for lots of snuggles and play time. Think I might be the one?? Apply to meet me today!
